I get the following NIC wich worked fine with the sky2 module on a 2.6.20 kernel, now with the 2.6.21 and the same module, the NIC isn't present in ifconfig -a, so it's unusable.

This the line of the nic with a lshwd -n -id (on a 2.6.20 kernel):
02:00.0 11ab:4364 Ethernet controller: ATI Technologies Inc.|Radeon RV370 (unknown)

I know there is an unknown, but once again, the nic works fine with the sky2 module.

I just upgraded from 2.6.20 to 2.6.21. In 2.6.21, my network controller on my motherboard isn't supported anymore. I have a Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4 motherboard. This board has a Marvell Yukon 88E8053 ethernet controller.

This is the same controller as on the Asus motherboard. This is a problem that depends on the network controller, independent of the motherboard that has this controller.
