Is there anything shown when starting from command line? Do you have recommended optional dependencies installed?

Can you upload your picture here to check whether it's working for other users?

Please check if it has been solved already in git master (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/geeqie-git) - if not please check
for existing or file a new upstream bug: https://github.com/BestImageViewer/geeqie/issues

Nothing show in terminal.
All optional dependencies are installed.
It's not with one image but all images.
The problem appear in my desktop with Gnome et my laptop with Cinnamon. Also on a VM with Gnome.

The git version in AUR work great but i don't find the issue in the list.

https://github.com/BestImageViewer/geeqie/commits/master - feel free to bisect your issue.

Or go with the AUR git version until a new release happens and we close this one ad "upstream".

I've bisected the issue when running geeqie (wayland - sway).
Applying https://github.com/BestImageViewer/geeqie/commit/89c5590a2ecc3132d34fa5b692d03b96e58ac117 to v1.6 fixes the issue for me.
