DetailsDescription: After updating from Emacs 27.1 to 27.2, I sporadically run into a crash when typing a long line that wraps into a visual line at the bottom of a window. This bug has been fixed on master. I've applied the patch to 27.2 and it seems to have resolved the bug. As Emacs 27.2 is supposed to be a bugfix-only release, I propose the attached changes to the PKGBUILD (I've taken the liberty to delete the unused patches bundled with it as they're not used and have been incorporated in Emacs 26.3 and newer).
Additional info: * package version: emacs-27.2-1 * log file: See trace.log attachment * link to upstream bug report: https://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=45156 Steps to reproduce: See upstream bug report. |
