DetailsDescription:
Whenever I'm trying to reboot or shutdown my machine using Linux-zen 5.12 it doesn't correctly shutdown/reboot. After pressing reboot/shutdown the machine is in some unavailable state and I have to press the power button for 10 secs to forcefully shut it down. I've already waited for more than 2 minutes (to exclude the systemd wait period for stuck processes) to see if the machine comes back. Downgrading to 5.11.16 fixes the issue. Additional info: Might be hardware-specific as I don't have any errors in my kernel log. Everything seems fine there? Hardware info: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X ROG Crosshair VIII Hero BIOS v3204 AMD RX 6800 XT Steps to reproduce: 1. Boot the machine as usual. 2. Try to shutdown or restart. |
