After each update of xmonad I have to run "xmonad --recompile" before I can start it again.
Wouldn't it be useful if this command was a post-transaction hook or similar?

What does `type -a xmonad` give you?

$ type -a xmonad
xmonad is /usr/bin/xmonad

Wouldn't this need to run for all users?
