Description:

Today my Steam installation broke after updating the following packages

[2021-04-15T15:48:35+0200] [ALPM] upgraded lib32-nvidia-utils (460.67-1 -> 465.24.02-1)
[2021-04-15T15:48:36+0200] [ALPM] upgraded linux (5.11.13.arch1-1 -> 5.11.14.arch1-1)
[2021-04-15T15:48:38+0200] [ALPM] upgraded linux-headers (5.11.13.arch1-1 -> 5.11.14.arch1-1)
[2021-04-15T15:48:39+0200] [ALPM] upgraded linux-zen (5.11.13.zen1-1 -> 5.11.14.zen1-1)
[2021-04-15T15:48:41+0200] [ALPM] upgraded linux-zen-headers (5.11.13.zen1-1 -> 5.11.14.zen1-1)
[2021-04-15T15:48:41+0200] [ALPM] upgraded nvidia (460.67-7 -> 460.67-10)



Steps to reproduce:

Install steam runtime multilib/steam and run, crashes with the output

Apr 15 16:43:34 archlinux kernel: NVRM: API mismatch: the client has the version 465.24.02, but
NVRM: this kernel module has the version 460.67. Please
NVRM: make sure that this kernel module and all NVIDIA driver
NVRM: components have the same version.

I suspect the push of lib32-nvidia-utils (460.67-1 -> 465.24.02-1) causing this, since the 465.24.02-1 nvidia drivers are not yet published and currently in testing

I can confirm after reverting to the previous package, Steam startup is OK

pacman -U https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/l/lib32-nvidia-utils/lib32-nvidia-utils-460.67-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
sudo mkinitcpio -P
reboot
