Details

Upstream provides the following files in the released archive, which can be used with some small modifications:
taskcluster/docker/firefox-flatpak/org.mozilla.firefox.desktop
taskcluster/docker/firefox-flatpak/org.mozilla.firefox.appdata.xml.in

See the attached diff, which removes the downstream desktop file, and installs upstream desktop and metainfo files.

I'm not going to apply this as it makes it more difficult to maintain firefox and firefox-nightly. I will update our desktop file to match the flatpak one more closely, though.
