Thunar crashes when you start it because updated gtk3 packages.

It's absurd to release packages that make crash a File Manager. One of the most used application of a Desktop. A file manager. I have no words. Why has not been checked if the update could be released? Or if any app could have problems. Now I'm not able to use my Xfce desktop.

just like to add that I downgraded to 1:3.24.28-2 to get things working again

Some other users confirm the crash started with 1:3.24.28-3, may just need a rebuild: https://forum.endeavouros.com/t/thunar-crashes-since-today/13516/42

same for me. updated gtk3 and now thunar crashes constantly.

Same identical problem.
Found 2 temporarily solutions:
- downgrade to version `1:3.24-28-1` (not tested the `-2`)
- install the AUR version `1:3.24.28.r28.g5b13ae1b2e-1`
