Could you please add nextcloudcron.service and nextcloudcron.timer mentioned here[0] to the package?
(Of course to /usr/lib/systemd/system then.)

The description in the Wiki page[0] could then be reduced to activating the timer[1].

At least that's the way this is handled in many other packages.

@buzo: Thanks for the report and the suggestion.

Coincidentally I have been looking at timers and background jobs yesterday... :D
Adding these services/timers will also (partially) obsolete the relevant AUR package [1] from what I can tell.

I will look into it in the coming days and update it alongside some minor changes to the uwsgi setup.

Works fine for me – thanks Sergej.

Any users who have manually installed the timer according to the instructions in the Wiki would have to disable the old and enable the new timer though.
