Details

Description:When trying to screencast with Ctrl + Shit + Alt + R, the icon shows up for a moment, then it crashes.


Additional info:
* Version: 1:40.0-1 (Also happened with latest 3.38)
* Log file attached
* I have reported it upstream, but seems to be working there: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/4053

Steps to reproduce:

Just press Ctrl + Shit + Alt + R.

I'm on a Wayland sessions with pipewire-pulse in case that matters.

The coredump attatched in Gitlab seems to indicate it could be something related to gstreamer, I have tried reinstalling these packages and nothing:

gst-plugin-gtk gst-plugin-pipewire gst-plugins-base gst-plugins-base-libs gst-plugins-good gst-plugins-ugly gstreamer gstreamer-vaapi

I can confirm this is only happening on Wayland session. It's working fine on Xorg. Perhaps is something related to pipewire? I'm using 0.3.25

I'm closing this issue since it's a known problem on upstream Gnome.
