Xaralx is currently broken after update to wxgtk 2.8 from the 2.6 version.
There is a 2.6 version in the repo (wxgtk-2.6), but the xaralx dependency is >=wxgtk2.6.
Either the package needs to be rebuilt against wxgtk2.8, or fix the depends for xaralx to wxgtk-2.6...

Due to some issues within the xara community and the problems around the rendering engine this issue won't be fixed as there is no development going on at all.
There will be or will be not bigger changes to the package in the future so that we will have to consider xaralx as alpha status. Atm there is not even maintanance going on so the package doesn't build with newer wxgtk versions. Most likely the package will be removed from unstable soon.

Thanks for the follow up. Perhaps the pkgbuild can be modified to reflect the wxgtk-2.6 dependency before bumping it into aur or community, etc. I haven't had any problems with the wxgtk-2.6 package installed.

with the move to unsupported this will not be fixed. I have too much to do on my regular packages, sorry
