According to the current maintainer of haveged, it is obsolete since kernel 5.6[1][2]. For the same reasons, haveged was removed from archiso[3] and arch-boxes[4] recently.

Perhaps the package should be removed?

The haveged service has become obsolete, but there is still relevant functionality.
https://github.com/jirka-h/haveged/commit/297bdf1fc52fc6f59d0495f911d4e594b4d29190

This change adds a condition on kernel version in service file and makes the service a no-op with linux >= 5.6.

Applying the change in haveged 1.9.14-2, but keeping it.
