Ummh........sorry.

I just upgraded (pacman -Syu), and it deleted my /etc/conf.d/tracd.conf again. No clue as to why. I looked at the initscripts PKGBUILD, and 'backup' seems to be the right thing to do, except that they have it further up in the PKGBUILD.

The deamon script does not work for me the way that you changed it. It works for me the way I proposed in the AUR comment. The error message I get is:

Warning: found no users in realm: Trac

and the login in trac does not work.
The warning disappears when I use my proposed way:

if [ -z $AUTH ]; then
AUTH=
else
AUTH="--auth ${AUTH}"
fi

and login in trac works (yes, I do have a digest file setup properly).
