Description:
systemd-networkd and systemd-resolved (am not sure which one is exactly the culprit) fail at DNS resolution in version 247.4-1. Additional info: $ resolvectl status Global Protocols: +LLMNR +mDNS -DNSOverTLS DNSSEC=allow-downgrade/unsupported resolv.conf mode: uplink Current DNS Server: 1.1.1.1 DNS Servers: 1.1.1.1 9.9.9.11 8.8.8.8 2606:4700:4700::1111 2620:fe::10 2001:4860:4860::8888 Steps to reproduce: - Install systemd-247.4-1 and use systemd-networkd and systemd-resolved for network and DNS - resolving DNS fails Additional details: DNS is reachable, pinging 1.1.1.1 is successful. Resolution of multicast DNS also fails. $ resolvectl query google.de google.de: resolve call failed: 'google.de' does not have any RR of the requested type $ resolvectl query laserbox.local laserbox.local: resolve call failed: All attempts to contact name servers or networks failed Just to add, pinging the IP of laserbox.local is successful. Downgrading to 247.3-1 and restarting systemd-networkd and resolved fixes this: $ resolvectl query laserbox.local laserbox.local: 192.168.178.11 -- link: br0 -- Information acquired via protocol mDNS/IPv4 in 135.9ms. -- Data is authenticated: no $ resolvectl query google.de google.de: 2a00:1450:400e:80d::2003 -- link: br0 172.217.168.227 -- link: br0 -- Information acquired via protocol DNS in 28.9ms. -- Data is authenticated: no |
