Description:
The changes made by the prepare() function in the xscreensaver PKGBUILD do not appear to be needed anymore. In my testing, leaving -std=c89 did not cause problems, and running autoreconf actually caused the build to fail by replacing the author's customized po/Makefile.in.in. Additional info: * xscreensaver-5.44-3 (building) * autoconf 2.71-1 * automake 1.16.3-1 * gettext 0.21-1 * intltool 0.51.0-6 Steps to reproduce: 1. Attempt to build package with current PKGBUILD 2. Note that build fails while attempting to install translation files from po/ 3. Remove prepare() and try again in a clean directory 4. Package builds successfully |
