Description:
acme.sh provides the --cron flag, which checks all certificates for renewal and does so if needed. One can either install a cronjob or a systemd timer manually to do that regularly.
It would be really handy if the package would already provide a systemd timer, which executes acme.sh with the --cron flag.

Since it’s missing from the feature request: the upstream already provides a systemd unit,⁽¹⁾ though it is not distributed with the acme.sh script itself.
