I discovered recently that the autocorrect function in LibreOffice Writer no longer functions as it should.

When Tools -> AutoCorrect 'While Typing' is on, nothing happens.

I had a new settings folder (named '~/.config/libreoffice/4') created by renaming the old settings folder. This didn't solve the issue.

Installed packages
Name : libreoffice-still
Version : 7.0.4-1
Name : libreoffice-still-en-gb
Version : 7.0.4-1

Seems to work well here. Please check your hunspell library and dictionary to be properly installed. Do you use AUR packages? Maybe starting fro command line shows up something.

Thanks for your reaction. Turned out another user experienced the same issue: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1959533#p1959533

I expanded a bit on his diagnosis of the issue (see my comment via the above link).
