DetailsI was wondering why my Terratec XFire 1024 card doesn't allow multiple streams to get played, since 2.4 with separate ALSA does.
This option needs to get enabled: Cirrus Logic (Sound Fusion) New DSP support (EXPERIMENTAL) This option allows multiple playback using hardware DSP mixing. It has been in alsa since one of the early 0.9 betas, so it isn't really experimental. Please rebuild the next kernel with this option enabled, I also heard some users in #archlinux complaining about why their cs46xx suddenly doesn't playback multiple streams after upgrading to 2.6 |
