Details

Version 1.8.3-1 of nextcloud-app-mail is not compatible with PHP 8.

However, its only dependency is nextcloud, whose current version 21.0.0-7 does not depend on php7 but on php (so PHP 8).

Version 1.9 of the mail app will be compatible with PHP 8 but is not released yet: https://github.com/nextcloud/mail/issues/4603
