Description:

btrfs device add /dev/dm-<anything> is broken since btrfs-progs v5.10.1, due to a typo when renaming functions: https://github.com/kdave/btrfs-progs/commit/922eaa7b5472ef2b5328c71fa54868bcbb97f7ac#r46945148

This is upstream bug https://github.com/kdave/btrfs-progs/issues/339.
It may be worth integrating this patch until an upstream release is made with it: https://github.com/kdave/btrfs-progs/commit/dcfda5527538993dc7b2291cb9b9b9967f3b3c4a
