DetailsTested on pcp 5.2.5-1, using cockpit as a visualizer.
Even though the systemd timers and services are running, cockpit will still complain that there is no performance metrics data. The reason for that is seen in the pmlogger logs: /var/log/pcp/pmlogger/pmlogger_daily.log > /usr/lib/pcp/bin/pmlogger_daily: line 1059: hostname: command not found The hostname command is now provided by the core/inetutils package, which was surprisingly not installed on my machine, but installing it and restarting the services solved the problem. The apparent solution is to make inetutils a required dependency. |
