Hello.
When installing the gnome-menus package, the package installs some .so files to /opt/gnome/lib, but it does not add that path to the ld.so.conf file when installed, nor does it run ldconfig, as it should.

Additional comments about closing:  gnome-menus will move to /usr shortly, making /opt/gnome/lib obsolete.
