Kernel 2.6.20.7.ck1-1 freezes my system when idle for a few
minutes. I was copying some files over a network connection,
and left the room. I came back around 20 minutes later, and
the system was locked up. A while later, I was burning a DVD
with K3B, and once again left. When I came back the system
was almost completely unresponsive. This is the same
behavior that the CK kernel was exhibiting with the 2.2.20
kernel before 2.6.20.4ck (which is stable). This was the
only 64 bit upgrade outside of alsa that I did before this
started happening. I have not tested the vanilla kernel.

btw: k3b had a known DMA issue that could have caused your issues. that should be fixed with k3b 1.0.1 update we will soon have. check the lock for lost dma functionality to sort that out.
