Several people reported an issue with not finding a template css on the nbconvert issue tracker and since it turned out the all of us are on Arch, it was suggested that this might relate to the Pacman package (https://github.com/jupyter/nbconvert/issues/1358#issuecomment-773592797). I still see this bug when installing with Conda on Arch, so I don't think the issue is limited to the pacman package, but everyone else encountering this issue seems to have installed nbconvert via the pacman package so just wanted to report it here also.
This task depends upon

PKGBUILD must run setup.py build before setup.py install to get Lab's css fetched.
Fedora does this since pre-6.

According to a comment from the one of the nbconvert devs, the following command should be used for the setup up instead of using `setup.py`.

python -m pip install . --no-deps --ignore-installed --no-cache-dir -vvv

Same here.
> jupyter convert mynotebook.ipynb --to html
gives :
jinja2.exceptions.TemplateNotFound: static/index.css

There in no such a file (index.css) in the github repo downloaded in PKGBUILD (https://github.com/jupyter/nbconvert/archive/6.0.7.tar.gz)

Don't know what to do next...

Hello, Nbconvert maintainer here: Many ArchLinux users are complaining in our repository about this issue, which is caused by a broken package. The fix should be fairly simple though. It would be fantastic if someone could apply the change described above.
