Description:
Hi all,

I have the package repo-2.11-1 installed. However, when invoking
```
$ /usr/bin/repo --version
<repo not installed>
repo launcher version 2.8
(from /usr/bin/repo)
git 2.30.0
Python 3.9.1 (default, Dec 13 2020, 11:55:53)
[GCC 10.2.0]
```
I.e. the reported version is 2.8.

When compiling android and running `repo sync` I get the message
```
... A new version of repo (2.11) is available.
... New version is available at: /${pwd}/.repo/repo/repo
... The launcher is run from: /usr/bin/repo
!!! The launcher is not writable. Please talk to your sysadmin or distro
!!! to get an update installed.
```
which confirms the above.

How could this happen?

Best,
Sebastian

Cool and thanks for pointing that out. Are you aware of an ETA?

No idea, sorry. You can add the community-testing repo (in your pacman config) or download the package manually.
