Details
Description:
cloud-guest-utils contains the growpart program which is used by the growpart module for disk resizing (https://cloudinit.readthedocs.io/en/latest/topics/modules.html#growpart). It should be added as a (optional) dependency. I'm not sure if it should be optional or not, it is only needed for disk resizing. |

disk resizing is essential. Actually systemd supports disk
resizing for a while now. Why is cloud-init not using the systemd
functions? IMHO this should be changed upstream.
I have added cloud-guest-utils as optdep in 21.1-2
systemd-repart is a relative new addition to systemd (released ~1
year ago) and it only supports GPT partition tables, and how would
you invoke it? (drop a repart.d file to disk and restart
systemd-repart.service?)
