Description:

As of Dec 19, 2020 USB gadget drivers were disabled from kernel config

The statement that "We're only running on host devices" is wrong,
as most laptop intel processors have dwc3-pci controller in them,
which does perfectly work in gagdet mode, and have practical cased in daily life,
especially on tablet hardware.
Personally use this feature for development was surprised to find out that it was disabled.
Recompiling the kernel after each update just to enable the feature does not seem too appealing.
Both controller and function drivers have good support from major vendors
as they are often used in production. Thus, chances of them being broken
or require additional maintenance burden on arch-linux side are low.
