Summary and Info:
when there is a *.gz file in the sources array - read: not a tarball - makepkg will fail to extract it with a message like the following and fail:

gunzip: mp3blaster_3.2.3-3.diff.gz already has .gz suffix -- unchanged

fix attached.

Steps to Reproduce:
try to build the CURRENT tagged extra/multimedia/mp3blaster PKGBUILD
   gunzip.patch (0.3 KiB)
