Graphics::TIFF is recommended by PDF::Builder, a dependency of gscan2pdf. When using G3/G4 compression in gscan2pdf, Graphics::TIFF is needed. See below for details.

Additional info:
* package version(s): 2.10.2

Steps to reproduce:

- open gscan2pdf
- scan a page
- go to File / Save
- choose compression G3 or G4
- press SAVE
- get error message

"Error creating PDF image object: Chunked CCITT G4 TIFF not supported. at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/PDF/Builder/Resource/XObject/Image/TIFF.pm line 238."

Hey, thanks for looking into this. I just tried it with version 2.11.2 and still get the error on Manjaro. Is there maybe a different between Manjaro and Arch?

I'm sorry but we don't support Manjaro or others distributions except Arch Linux.

Please ask to Manjaro maintainers whether they apply different patches over the Arch Linux version

I managed to reproduce the defect, it seems related to perl-pdf-builder though, investigating
