DetailsDescription: Graphics::TIFF (perl-graphics-tiff?) should be marked as dependent for either gscan2pdf or perl-pdf-builder.
Graphics::TIFF is recommended by PDF::Builder, a dependency of gscan2pdf. When using G3/G4 compression in gscan2pdf, Graphics::TIFF is needed. See below for details. Additional info: * package version(s): 2.10.2 Steps to reproduce: - open gscan2pdf - scan a page - go to File / Save - choose compression G3 or G4 - press SAVE - get error message "Error creating PDF image object: Chunked CCITT G4 TIFF not supported. at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/PDF/Builder/Resource/XObject/Image/TIFF.pm line 238." gscan2pdf is using the lib-sane-perl interface. |
