DetailsDescription:
Upgrading the lease database fails due to upgrade scripts not being executable. Could be fixed by chmod +x /usr/share/kea/scripts/*/*.sh Additional info: * package version(s): kea 1.9.3-1 * config and/or log files etc.: n/a * link to upstream bug report, if any: n/a Steps to reproduce: Upgrade from an existing Kea, e.g. 1.5 with lease db configured and run kea-admin db-upgrade mysql -u <username> -p <password> -n <db-name> Script fails because the upgrade scripts that get invoked are not marked as executable. |

I cannot reproduce this. kea 1.9.6-1 in [community] has all the "*.sh" files in `/usr/share/kea/scripts` as executable except for the `/usr/share/kea/scripts/admin-utils.sh` which is documented as source-able only by other scripts - thus, it should remain non-executable. Did you perhaps get a warning during upgrade for permission differences from pacman?
Also, if you have the logs of the specific error, it would be helpful.
