Description:
When I activate the screen lock and wait until the video signal is turned off, there are no audio devices after unlocking the session again. (The bug has been around for a long time - a couple of versions of pulseaudio previously did not exist. Earlier, after unlocking a session, a message appeared with the detected audio device, just like when restarting pulseaudio.service.) Additional info: * PulseAudio 14.2-2 * audio-video via HDMI (PC => A/V Yamaha RX-A840 => LG TV) * log files in Attachment: audio_error.log -> after an error occurs audio_after_restart_pulseaudio.log -> after restart pulseaudio.sevice - sound works again === Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.10.9-arch1-1 OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: GeForce GTX 980/PCIe/SSE2 === Steps to reproduce: 1. Enable lockscreen ( loginctl lock-session ) 2. Wait to no video signal (energy saving - screen off after 10 min.) 3. Move mouse and unlock session 4. No audio devices (sound tray) - no sound |

Did you file bug reports upstream, to PulseAudio and Linux kernel devs? If so, could you include the relevant links here?
