When trying to build evolution 1.5 against mozilla NSS, it can't compile SSL support because of some missing headerfiles. The make install rule doesn't copy them, so they need to get copied by hand (or by PKGBUILD ;)).

At http://schoolbak.dyndns.org/arch-bugs/mozilla you can find a fixed PKGBUILD, a .pkg.tar.gz and the usual mozilla files.

how long until evolution 1.6 is out? I don't want to make this change and force a new download because mozilla 1.7 should be released in a month. If evolution 1.6 comes out before then, then yes, we can make the change.

We're at 1.5.6.1 now (which is buggy, 1.5.6 works ;))

On my buildsystem I fixed the bug myself, so I will continue using that package for next builds.

Evolution 2.0 could be done in may/june, I'm not sure about that. You can wait with the bugfix until mozilla 1.7 is out, since the bug doesn't affect evolution at runtime, only at compile time.

Hrm, this might be a better idea...

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/security/nss/releases/

especially since mozilla is in extra, we could provide a nss3 package.

nss3 and nspr4 are hell to build from source the right way, but if you succeed in delivering a good working package, it's okay to me. You can also build mozilla against it if you want.

Going to solve this bug by creating a nss package since gaim will need it and it is in current, so technically gaim can't depend on mozilla.
