Hello Team,

Can you separate axc and libomemo from lurch?
* https://archlinux.org/packages/?sort=&q=lurch

Debian has done:
* https://salsa.debian.org/DebianOnMobile-team/libomemo
* https://salsa.debian.org/DebianOnMobile-team/libaxc
* https://salsa.debian.org/DebianOnMobile-team/purple-lurch

There is currently a problem in lurch 0.6.8.

OMEMO 0.3.0 byte-IV is 16 instead of 12 and it breaks compatibility with all OMEMO 0.3.0 clients:
* https://github.com/gkdr/libomemo/issues/24

There is libomemo 0.7.0 with the fix.

Thanks in advance.

One more ticket marked as critical that's not actually critical will trigger action against your account.

@Scimmia, critical because incompatibility with all OMEMO 0.3.0 clients.

Without a change, compatibility is not good with the Arch Linux users.

libomemo 0.7.0 has the fix, please read:
- https://github.com/gkdr/libomemo/issues/24#issuecomment-737547612

The problem is compatibility with all OMEMO 0.3.0 clients.

Alpine, Debian, Gentoo, Alt Linux are perfect.

Looks like lurch will need Makefile updates to support finding libomemo via pkg-config, I recommend you try to make sure that is in order so that we *can* use a system libomemo in time for the next lurch release.
