Description:
lutris has python-magic as a runtime dependency. It fails to launch wine games among others when it isn't installed.
python-magic in [community] is a different package, there are unfortunately 2 libraries named magic.
python-magic-ahupp in the AUR is the correct one.

The process starts, but the game doesn't actually launch.

Why is this still unconfirmed? Install lutris, setup a wine game, and try to launch it without python-magic-ahupp.
