The problem with the notification-daemon is, it doesn't build with dbus>=1 and the development seems to be sleeping or might be even dead. So there is no way of rebuilding it for /usr atm. I debate to take the package out of the repos.

I found a patch and it builds again, but it seems there are no upstream updates atm, which means an uncertain future
the next update makes it working again. Bear with me here I try to push the xfce4 updates/bugfixes asap, but my GF is in the hospital atm
