Description:
Since update to liferea 1.13.4 the icon of the .desktop is broken. At least liferea has no icon in the menu/desktop of my DE (mate).

Maybe some caching issue with mate, they changed the icon name and pixmap with 1.13.4

Jep, it seems to be a caching issue. A copy of the old desktop file is in .local/share/applications/net.sourceforge.liferea.desktop – removing it fixes the issue.
