Hi!
In current krita (krita 4.4.1-7, but probably already for much longer) the titles of dockers erroneously display Ampersand (&) characters next to the letters that are actually meant to be rendered underlined as a shortcut mnemonic. I've verified this is not an upstream problem - the official AppImage releases provided by krita.org look fine (see attached image) - so apparently the issue arises somewhere in between in packaging - maybe some Qt-related misconfiguration, missing build flag, environment variable? Comments at https://krita-artists.org/t/krita-ui-papercuts/4704 indicate there might be some friction between Qt & GNOME there, so the issue might be more involved still, but apparently, as the AppImage proves, there's a way to not have this issue in a krita that runs on Arch. If you have any ideas on this I'd be curious to hear. Would be great if we could resolve this, because other than this issue, the pacman native krita looks perfectly alright! Last but not least thanks for packaging krita for arch, appreciate your hard work! |

I'm pretty sure the Krita appimage doesn't ship the gtk Qt plugin,
which is why you're not seeing this. The issue is either in krita
or in Qt's gtk plugin, nothing we can do about it packaging wise.
