Description:
Dbeaver from package 7.3.1-1 does not start. It show error dialog instead and stops.

It produces error log that I've attached.

Downgrading package to 7.2.5-1 helps: old version starts and work more or less properly.

Additional info:
* package version(s) - 7.3.1-1
* config and/or log files etc.

This problem was solved by changing the java environment. `archlinux-java set java-14-openjdk`

Thanks. Even `archlinux-java set java-11-openjdk` happened to be enough.

Well then dbeaver package description should be updated, it should denote newer java-runtime>=11 (currently it shows that it needs java-runtime>=8)

I can confirm the issue.

Indeed somebody else also reported to upstream:

Please let allow the upstream developer to react, maybe it's a bug that could be fixed easily, before bumping the required jre.

oh nevermind: https://github.com/dbeaver/dbeaver/issues/10837#issuecomment-752884788
A contributor replied the minimum required version is jre 11

More precisely README states that JDK 11 is required:

Thank you, it was a recent change I missed: https://github.com/dbeaver/dbeaver/commit/ff4b5ce7c98553c3460e7992571618227cf80c67
