The problem is not present when I downgrade to zathura-pdf-mupdf-0.3.6-2, btw.

I have the same issue. Previous version 0.3.6-2 is working, so downgrade is a workaround.

I have the same issue. The issue is only with the mupdf backend. Poppler works fine. Downgrading also resolved it for me.

This may be because gumbo was not added as a build dependency. By applying the merge request ( https://git.pwmt.org/pwmt/zathura-pdf-mupdf/-/merge_requests/4 ), I can open pdf files.

I can also confirm the problem. Switching to poppler backend solved the issue (as a workaround).

Same issue here.

Same issue. No error is shown, but no pdf nor epub will open. Downgrading fixes it.
