Please post detailed steps to reproduce. There's no way this can be the same issue as  FS#56821
Comment by Arkadiy Illarionov (qarkai) - Friday, 18 December 2020, 18:15 GMT
Steps to reproduce
1. Update qtcreator to 4.14
2. Open project which uses GTK, e.g. pidgin
3. Open file with GTK code, e.g. libpurple/protocols/zephyr/zephyr.c
4. Notice Code model error

gmacros.h:38:10: error: 'stddef.h' file not found
Comment by Sergey Ivanov (voivoid) - Friday, 18 December 2020, 20:15 GMT
I observe the same issue ( error: 'stddef.h' file not found ) with the following code:

#include <iostream>
int main() {}

reverting to qtcreator 4.13.2 fixes the issue

qtcreator code model log attached
