DetailsDescription:
GDM has crashes and restarts with MESA 20.3.0-3. I haven't been able to pin point what causes the crashes. My best guess is MS Teams notifications (which of course are custom bloatware) but it's hard to troubleshoot. When the error happens, GDM produces a core dump which is attached. Workaround: Reverting mesa back to 20.2.3-1 fixes any instability I have. Hardware: CPU: Ryzen 5 2000 Series GPU: AMD Radeon R9 200 series Desktop Environment: Gnome xorg on wayland Boot: systemd-boot Software: System completely up-to-date except for mesa as of today. |
