I've found Fedora replacing ntp with ntpsec (
for good maintenance and security reasons: - no spec file so far

We have it available in AUR -

It looks like a valid and solid dropin-replacement. Please consider switching over to ntpsec for
security reasons and a more community friendly version and an open development process.
Maybe we should also ask our devops team if they have an opinion on this. Not sure if your server
rely on it.

Personally I don't understand why the community chrony package is taking that long to get updated to 4.0, which added support for NTS out-of-the-box:
