That tier 1 request sounds like a very good idea indeed. We like to wait for 6 to 9 months though to see if your mirror is reliable before we give you tier 1 status. Would you mind commenting on this report again in a month or two?

I've promoted you to tier 1. Note that it may take up to one hour for the IP whitelist to be updated. The IP that is/will be included in the whitelist is

Please switch to one of the *_tier1 modules on "rsync://". You'll probably want "rsync://". Reply here once you've switched so I can close this request.

If you want to sync more often than once an hour, please consider using a script like this[1] to reduce the amount of rsync traffic when there are no changes.

I have made the switch to "rsync://" and everything works as expected.
Also using the script you suggested.
