Description:
Package Name: Barrier; Link: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/barrier/ Barrier Opens up after I start my machine, but my wireless network only connects once I do the logon, this results in the Ip Address in the app showing as Unknown, so I have to restart the app in my machine to run it. Ps: I didn't configure the app to run on startup, it came from pamac. Additional info: * The version is 2.3.3-1 from community My Htop Tree is this: PID USER PRI NI VIRT RES SHR S CPU% MEM% TIME+ Command 1498 ze 24 4 921M 80508 64092 S 0.0 1.0 0:03.47 │ ├─ /usr/bin/barrier 1540 ze 20 0 94916 9672 8232 S 0.0 0.1 0:27.84 │ │ ├─ /usr/bin/barriers -f --no-tray --debug INFO --name ze-aspiree1571 --enable-crypto -c /tmp/Bar 1542 ze 20 0 94916 9672 8232 S 0.0 0.1 0:02.33 │ │ │ ├─ /usr/bin/barriers -f --no-tray --debug INFO --name ze-aspiree1571 --enable-crypto -c /tmp/ 1541 ze 20 0 94916 9672 8232 S 0.0 0.1 0:00.00 │ │ │ └─ /usr/bin/barriers -f --no-tray --debug INFO --name ze-aspiree1571 --enable-crypto -c /tmp/ 1511 ze 39 19 921M 80508 64092 S 0.0 1.0 0:00.00 │ │ ├─ /usr/bin/barrier 1510 ze 39 19 921M 80508 64092 S 0.0 1.0 0:00.00 │ │ ├─ /usr/bin/barrier 1509 ze 39 19 921M 80508 64092 S 0.0 1.0 0:00.00 │ │ ├─ /usr/bin/barrier 1508 ze 39 19 921M 80508 64092 S 0.0 1.0 0:00.00 │ │ ├─ /usr/bin/barrier 1506 ze 20 0 921M 80508 64092 S 0.0 1.0 0:00.04 │ │ ├─ /usr/bin/barrier 1501 ze 20 0 921M 80508 64092 S 0.0 1.0 0:00.01 │ │ ├─ /usr/bin/barrier 1500 ze 20 0 921M 80508 64092 S 0.0 1.0 0:00.58 │ │ └─ /usr/bin/barrier * When I open Barrier with the cli, it gives me this output, I am sure it is not really : [ze@ze-aspiree1571 ~]$ barrier *** WARNING *** The program 'barrier' called 'DNSServiceRegister()' which is not supported (or only supported partially) in the Apple Bonjour compatibility layer of Avahi. *** WARNING *** Please fix your application to use the native API of Avahi! *** WARNING *** For more information see <http://0pointer.de/blog/projects/avahi-compat.html> ("-f", "--no-tray", "--debug", "INFO", "--name", "ze-aspiree1571", "--enable-crypto", "-c", "/tmp/Barrier.GrSOMj", "--address", ":24800") qt.qpa.xcb: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 5 (BadAtom), sequence: 466, resource id: 0, major code: 20 (GetProperty), minor code: 0 * There were no bugs about this package before... Steps to reproduce: I did: $ pamac install barrier; - configure it as Server; - I set up a client as I needed the app for that, so I configured, but I think it is not a required step. Restart the machine, you will be able to see a Barrier error message with the string: "Failed to get local ip address. Please type in server address on your clients", I press ok and the program show up and in Ip Address field, it is "Unknown" |
