DetailsDescription:
Networkmanager messes up my internet connection when used with dhcpcd. It used to mess up even when I was on Gnome, but I could uninstall it there without any problems. Further dhcpcd is not using NM at all. KDE dev said powerdevil could be built without networkmanager support, thus making this optional. Can we do it for Arch too? In Gnome you can easily uninstall NM without breaking anyhing. But here, in KDE, it breaks dep. with its powermanager. |
