DetailsDescription:
The application displays the generic "Electron" icon in the dock instead of the actual VSCode icon. Version: 1.51.1-1 I am running Gnome 3.38.0-1 together with Plank 0.11.89-2. I originally filed the issue on the vscode repository: https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/111327 The issue can be fixed by manually editing the .desktop file and changing `StartupWMClass` to `code-oss`. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install vscode 2. Launch it 3. Observe the icon being the generic Electron icon in the dock |
