DetailsI've just noticed that CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS aren't being picked up by ./configure, you need to add 'export CFLAGS=...' 'export CXXFLAGS=...' to makepkg.conf for ./configure to pick them up.

Either that patch or prefix 'export...' to the lines in makepkg.conf fixes it.

I want to keep use of export out of makepkg.conf to keep it a configuration file and nothing else. I'll check it into CVS and GIT.
