I use the most recent archiso (2020.11.01). I install from USB with the graphical frontend (it's called Zen installer). During the installation I mark packages to be installed. They are downloaded, but not all that I marked (I'm not even sure if any of those are). There is another bug that they are not installed, but I think they should be at least downloaded to pacman's cache.

I mark packages from different categories (internet, media - don't remember for sure) to be installed. I also noticed that if I visit the same category the second time, the marks already set disappear. I remember well that, for example, 'fbreader' or 'firefox' were not 'installed', though I marked those packages.

I'm not sure whether the Zen Installer used for the installation is this package https://github.com/spookykidmm/zen_installer and whether I should had reported there.

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  The zen installer is not officially supported. That's also why it is not pre-installed on the image.
Please follow the official installation guide on the wiki.

For problem resolution for the zen installer please open a bug report upstream: https://github.com/spookykidmm/zen_insta ller/issues
