DetailsDescription:
Attempting to install the `openzwave` package version 1.6-4 results in an error `cannot resolve "libhidapi-libusb.so=0-64", a dependency of "openzwave"`. Looking at the .PKGINFO in the zst I see `depend = libhidapi-libusb.so=0-64`. Specifically from this version: $ sha256sum openzwave-1.6-4-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst aac4769331f7d7f32fedef1af65ccdccd35f5bfe63c6ec3fa3e5c814f9d74aba openzwave-1.6-4-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst obtained from the `Download From Mirror` link on https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/openzwave/. Steps to reproduce: [mjec@redacted ~]$ sudo pacman -Sy openzwave :: Synchronizing package databases... core is up to date extra is up to date community is up to date resolving dependencies... warning: cannot resolve "libhidapi-libusb.so=0-64", a dependency of "openzwave" :: The following package cannot be upgraded due to unresolvable dependencies: openzwave :: Do you want to skip the above package for this upgrade? [y/N] y looking for conflicting packages... there is nothing to do [mjec@redacted ~]$ |
