mupen64plus fails to build with the -fno-common option used by default by gcc 10 [1]. Fixed upstream [2]. Upstream commit does not apply cleanly as a hunk is for a file not present in 2.5. [3] contains the commit with that hunk removed or -fcommon can be used.
